Tunnel-ex Tunnel System:   New in 2019

The Tunnel-Ex Tunnel System is designed for the simple excavation of tunnels in 24” sections.  The system integrates with the StepRing shoring panels through a Modular Transition.  Using the Transition, tunnels can be excavated in up to four directions depending on the application.  The Transition is made from a number of sections small enough to easily lower down through the 48” ring column.  The transition assembles from the top down.  Once the Transition is fully assembled, the first 24” of tunnel is excavated and the first tunnel ring is bolted in place.  Then the process is repeated every 24”.
