StepRing Excavation Technologies
The StepRing Gantry System is a modular shoring system designed for the safe and quick excavation of holes 50’ deep and beyond in places that heavy equipment can’t be used.
It quickly separates into sections and can be moved from site to site in a standard 8’ pickup truck with as little as 2 men. Each complete Ring uses three 24” high Ring panels, along with matching 24” Ladder section to create a 24” vertical section of StepRing shoring. The Ring Panels are 14 gauge galvanized, corrugated steel, assembled from the inside using a 5/16” speed bolting system. The Rings are available in exterior diameters of 36” 48” 60” and 72”, with custom sizes available by special order. After the hole is excavated the Rings can be removed and reused or left permanently in the hole.

We are an outgrowth of a Southern California engineering group working together to create a safe, modular and scalable system for digging holes in places that heavy equipment can’t go. Our objective is to create a complete line of products for excavating deep holes in difficult environments, both accurately and economically.

StepRing shoring systems are available in four basic sizes. Diameters offered are 36″, 48″, 60″ and 72″. The standard Ring Panels are constructed from 14-gauge corrugated steel. However, our Ring Panels can also be ordered in custom sizes and steel thicknesses up to 7-gauge.
